This message is a clarification of the email you received last Thursday, May 20.
The employer contribution rate for State and School employers will drop from 14.23% down
to 13.33%, effective July 1, 2021. The new rate is also the working-after-retirement rate. Both rates are reflected in the employer web portal (EWP).
Working After Retirement Rate Schedule
You do not need to do anything in the portal, but schools need to change their payroll system to reflect the working-after-retirement rate change for pay dates on or after July 1, 2021.
Please be sure to notify your payroll department.
