Compensation to Include

Regardless of hire date, any compensatory time (comp time) payment during the regular course of a KPERS member's employment is considered overtime and should be reported as compensation.
At resignation, lump-sum compensatory time is reported
only if hire date is prior to 7-1-1993.
Unfortunately, inaccurate information was presented during recent employer presentations. It has been corrected.
