Rate Changes for Member & Spouse Coverage
On January 1, 2025, ALL member and spouse optional life insurance premium rates will increase. Your Employer Web Portal (EWP) will NOT show these premium changes until KPERS generates the January premium report.
Make changes to your payroll deductions based on the below rate charts. These rates are based on the member's or spouse's age as of January 1, 2025 (e.g. If the member turns 65 in March of 2025, use the age 64 bracket. If the member turned 65 in March of 2024, use the age 65 bracket).

Enrollment & Age-Bracket Changes
Annual age-bracket and open-enrollment changes also will go into effect January 1, 2025. Login to the EWP to see these changes only on your November and December OGLI premium reports, under "Changes since last report". If your November report has not been generated, you will need to submit all prior reports to generate the report and see these changes.

If you want to export "Changes since last report" click the Export button to download a spreadsheet of any upcoming changes (see below).

Both the Age Bracket and Open Enrollment premiums on your report reflect new 2025 premium rates for ALL coverage types.

Reminder
The "Changes since last report" shows the new total monthly premium amount due for all coverage types the member has. If you need a breakout by coverage type for new premiums, email OGLI_FS@kpers.org. KPERS does not mail out age-bracket info.
We will send confirmation letters (PER-9003) for employees who enrolled or made coverage changes for January 2025. |
